Kyle Kinnard is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Walmart International. In this role, Kyle leads the teams overseeing Walmart’s international markets, including Walmart Mexico – where he also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Walmart de México y Centroamérica – and the company’s businesses in Canada, Central America, Chile and South Africa, with a focus on bringing Walmart’s purpose to life in these markets across the globe.

Previously, Kyle served as executive vice president of Health and Wellness for Walmart U.S., where he led retail pharmacy and optical businesses operating more than 4,600 pharmacies and 3,000 Vision Centers, along with Walmart’s Healthcare Research Institute and Consumer Health Solutions.

Prior to Health & Wellness, Kyle was senior vice president of Neighborhood Markets, leading operations for nearly 700 locations and driving customer loyalty through quality grocery offerings, digital capabilities and associate development.

Kyle began his Walmart career in 2000 as an hourly associate at Sam’s Club 8209 in Springdale, Arkansas. Over the years he has held numerous leadership roles across Sam’s Club U.S., from club manager to vice president and divisional merchandise manager. His latest role is a return to Walmart International, having previously served in senior roles with Sam’s Club China and Sam’s Club Mexico before returning to the U.S. as a senior vice president of Home.

Throughout his career, Kyle has developed deep expertise in business transformation, merchandising and operations, with a strong passion for investing in people and building high-performing teams.

Kyle holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from John Brown University.

Cristian Barrientos Pozo is president and CEO of Walmart Mexico and Central America. In addition to his customer-focused approach and his vision of the market and the competition, he is committed to developing talent and growing the business with regeneration in mind.

Cristian previously served in a variety of roles such as senior vice president of operations at Walmart de México, a position from which he drove the expansion of the operation, the opening of more stores and distribution centers, their digitalization and the strengthening of e-commerce as part of the strategy to establish the company as the leading omnichannel player in the Mexican market.

After creating and leading the SuperBodega aCuenta brand for more than five years, in 2012 Cristian joined Walmart Mexico as vice president of operations of Bodega Aurrera, to later be appointed senior vice president of the three Bodega Aurrera formats, accelerating the brand’s expansion – including opening more than 600 stores – along with developing new business prototypes. Subsequently, in 2017, held the position of CEO and general manager of Central America, leading the market in a highly challenging environment.

Cristian began his retail career as a wine buyer with Walmart Chile and has served in roles of increasing responsibility over his 26-year career in retail. He holds an undergraduate degree from Universidad Gabriela Mistral along with an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

Rachel Brand is an experienced C-suite executive and attorney who most recently served as Walmart’s executive vice president of global governance, chief legal officer, and corporate secretary. In this role, she oversaw the company’s global legal, compliance, ethics, corporate governance, digital citizenship, aviation, investigative, enterprise risk management, and corporate security functions, including Walmart’s Global Security Operations Center.

Immediately before joining Walmart in 2018, Rachel served as the United States Associate Attorney General. She had previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice as the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy during President George W. Bush’s administration. Also during the Bush administration, Rachel served as Associate Counsel to the President at the White House. Her other government service includes an appointment by President Obama to serve as a Member of the U.S. Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.  She served as a law clerk to Justice Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court of the United States and Justice Charles Fried on the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. In the private sector, she was a lawyer in private practice at two law firms in Washington, D.C. and served as the Vice President and Chief Counsel for Regulatory Litigation at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Litigation Center.

Rachel serves on the boards of directors of Walmart of Mexico and Central America and PhonePe Limited. Outside of Walmart, she serves on the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center and she is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Law Institute.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Experienced finance executive and board chair with 30+ years of international experience across retail, financial services, wealth and investment banking, and market exchanges.

Most recently served as CFO of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), overseeing finance, investor relations, treasury, sustainability, and audit functions. She previously held senior executive roles at Perpetual Limited (Group CFO), Westpac Institutional Bank (CFO & MD), and Citi (CFO for Australia & NZ retail, investment banking and wealth management operations). Earlier in her career, she gained valuable retail experience at Woolworths Australia, directing strategic planning and spearheading various initiatives.

Gillian currently serves as Chair of Australian fund manager Bennelong Funds Management Limited. Across her career, she has served on numerous boards, chairing investment, audit, and finance committees, trustee companies, and contributing to not-for-profit educational and cultural institutions. Her expertise includes technology transformation, post-merger integration, international regulatory compliance (SOX, SEC, US GAAP), and risk governance.

Gillian holds a Bachelor of Commerce, MBA, Diploma in Accounting & Finance, and Graduate Certificate in AI for Business. Fellow of Chartered Accountants ANZ and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Recognized speaker at finance forums and active mentor in executive development programs.

Executive with 30 years of international experience in the financial industry, recognized for leading strategic transformations in complex organizations and for his ability to drive sustainable growth through the optimization of processes, culture, and strategy.

In 2014, Jorge was invited to lead Citi’s Institutional Banking in Mexico. He has also led strategic operations for Citi across several Latin American countries, including the Central America and Caribbean region, as well as Chile, his home country. He has overseen Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets businesses, strengthening his expertise in managing complex businesses and building high-level institutional relationships.

Jorge holds a degree in Business and Finance. He has represented Citigroup’s interests on the boards and committees of important financial institutions, such as Banco de Chile, contributing to areas including Brokerage, Asset Management, and Investment Banking.

Co-founder and managing partner of Jaguar Ventures, an investment fund created by Mexican e-commerce entrepreneurs dedicated to investing in Internet-based business models.

He graduated with honors in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Finance at the Technological Institute of Monterrey. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Public Administration from Stanford University. In that university, Eric was elected co-president of the Association of Latin American Students of the School of Business and Vice President of the Association of Mexican Students in Stanford.

Prior to the founding of Jaguar, Eric acquired experience in electronic commerce starting in 1999, when he opened and directed Mercado Libre Mexico. Since then he has served as executive director, investor and adviser in various Internet companies. Currently part of the advice of sites such as Aventones.com, Gaudena.com, Viajamex.com, Yaxi.mx, Conekta.io or Yogome.com. He also provides support to entrepreneurs as a mentor to Endeavor Mexico. Eric Pérez-Grovas worked in the Strategic Consulting department of the companies McKinsey & Co. and Bain & Co. In these firms he collaborated in various strategic planning projects for companies in Mexico, the US and South America. In addition to his consulting experience.

María Teresa Arnal (commonly known as Mariate) is a senior leader with over 25 years of experience across digital technology and its application in different industries and businesses. Her last position was as Head of Latam for Stripe were she was responsible for the strategy in the region, including product development, as well as building and managing the Stripe business in Latin America. Previous to joining Stripe, she was the Managing Director for Google in Mexico, where she was responsible for the strategy and overall Google business in the country.

Her background spans from many years in ad tech in companies like Microsoft, Twitter and Google to management consulting (Booz Allen, BCG), while also starting her own company (Clarus) later sold to WPP under the Mirum network. She is passionate about how technology can help solve many of the problems in Latin America. She is also very excited about helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses and supporting women in their quest for empowerment and realizing their full potential.

Dr. Liz Kwo has 20+ years of experience in digital health, diagnostics, and medical management, with a focus on using data analytics to transform people’s daily lives and improve health outcomes at scale. 

Currently she is the Chief Medical Officer of Everly Health, an innovative home diagnostics company. Most recently, Dr. Kwo served as Deputy Chief Clinical Officer for Elevance (NYSE: ELV) and helped modernize disease management and care delivery for 43 million Americans. 

Prior to Elevance, Dr. Kwo started several venture backed companies as the CEO and co-founder of InfiniteMD (acquired by Consumer Medical that was acquired by Alight (NYSE: ALIT) and President and co-founder of New Pathway Education and Technology Group (acquired by EIC Education). 

Dr. Kwo is on the Board of Directors and Member of the Compensation Committee of Asensus (NYSE AMERICAN: ASXC), Chair of the Nomination, Governance and Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors of BlueWind Medical, and Chairman of the Board of Directors for ChroniSense. 

She is a practicing physician at Cambridge Health Alliance Hospital, a faculty lecturer at Harvard Medical School, and board certified in Preventive Care and Occupational Medicine. 

She earned a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, MD from Harvard Medical School, MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Dr. Viridiana Ríos is a Mexican academic and expert in public policy analysis. She is an instructor at Harvard Summer School, and a prominent political analyst for the European newspaper El País, and the Mexican newspaper Milenio. 

Dr. Ríos has been visiting assistant professor at Harvard University, Purdue University, and fellow at The Wilson Center for International Scholars. She was also the CEO of Dateras, an association that uses code to promote strategic analysis, and of México ¿cómo vamos?, a think tank specializing in the analysis of the Mexican economy. 

Her most recent book “No es normal. The rigged game that fuels Mexican inequality and how to change it” [in Spanish] was awarded the Latin American Leadership Award by The Global School of Social Leaders in Vienna. Likewise, Viridiana was selected as a "young global leader" by the World Economic Forum in 2020. 

Viridiana holds a Ph.D. in government from Harvard University, and executive leadership education from Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

Brian Knapp serves as Senior Vice President in Walmart Global Tech’s AI and Data organization, where he helps lead the company’s enterprise AI strategy, platforms, and applied AI agenda. His responsibilities span model strategy, associate development tools, retail intelligence, physical AI and signals, and the governance required to deploy AI safely and effectively at Walmart scale.

Brian oversees efforts to turn emerging AI capabilities into practical business outcomes, including platforms that enable associates to build AI-powered applications and enterprise access to leading models. A central focus of his work is moving AI from experimentation into production by establishing clear ownership, secure data access, and operating models that preserve both speed and accountability.

Before joining Walmart, Brian spent more than two decades at Amazon in a series of technology, product, operations, and general management roles. He led worldwide delivery-experience products, ran Amazon’s consumables business in Canada, led retail innovation for Amazon Go, managed global customer-service operations, and served as general manager of Amazon Fresh. Earlier, he led Amazon’s retail forecasting, procurement, and inventory systems, and began his career in semiconductor manufacturing and scientific research.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Purdue University.

Sean Scott serves as Senior Vice President, AI Shopping Product and Operations at Walmart, where he leads AI shopping product strategy and execution. His responsibilities include Walmart’s agentic shopping companion Sparky, integrations with leading AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Gemini, and AI-powered in-store associate tools, working in close partnership with business and engineering teams.

Sean joined Walmart from Google, where he was General Manager of Google Shopping, leading the shopping experience across Search, AI Overviews/Mode, shopping.google.com and Google apps, as well as the Google Shopping Graph supporting billions of product listings across platforms such as Chrome and YouTube. He also served as the first Chief Product Development Officer at PagerDuty, leading product management, engineering, design and pricing for its full product suite used by more than 70% of the Fortune 100.

Earlier in his career, Sean spent 15 years at Amazon, where he advanced from Technical Program Manager to Vice President of Shopping Experience Technology. In this role, he led the technology behind the Amazon homepage, product pages, cart and checkout globally across web and mobile. He later served as Vice President of Autonomous Delivery, building and scaling teams to develop AI-based, fully electric delivery robots.

Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas and has over 40 patents.

• Independent Directors are experienced in the core business and strategic areas of the company.
• The Board has access to independent advisers.
• The Chairman of the Board is neither allowed to act as Secretary nor to preside over any Board Committee.

• Giving and opinion on the hiring and establishment of the fees of the independents auditors.
• Ensuring the existence of a proper internal control system for the company that meets any and all applicable accounting and legal provisions, and reviewing company and subsidiaries transactions with related parties.
• Reviewing the financial statements and ensuring they are a true and accurate reflection of the financial situation for the company. They also have a set procedure for receiving, retaining, and responding to claims concerning accounting practices and controls, and any audit issues. Moreover, said committees have the necessary resources for, and are authorized to retain the services of counsel and/or any other outside adviser needed to perform their duties.
• Reducing the risk of conducting operations such that could affect company worth or could result in the granting of favored conditions to any one group of shareholders.

• Approving policies for the use and enjoyment of properties pertaining to the net worth of the company.
• Authorizing transactions with related parties, remuneration for the Chief Executive Officer, and remuneration policies regarding relevant company officers.
• Serving as support for the Board of Directors in producing reports on accounting practices.
• Holding private meetings and receiving periodic reports from Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, and Ethics
• Calling Shareholders to meetings and ensuring that the order of business includes all matters deemed necessary.

• Independent auditors are forbidden from providing consultancy services to the company.

• The partner from the independent auditing firm that renders the opinion on the financial statements must be rotated periodically.
